I found this recipe for hot chocolate mix at EatingOnADime.com. It’s super easy and affordable to whip together. For 20 or so cups, add the following to a canning jar or large ziplock bag:
1 1/3 cups sugar
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup powdered milk
1/8 tsp salt (OPTIONAL)
One or two tablespoons added to hot water should result in a creamy, chocolatey treat. The mix will last for six months and can be doubled, tripled, and then some for large seasonable batches.
Just please remember that hot chocolate contains caffeine and use caution if you’re sensitive to it.
