What will you grow in your indoor garden?

old books and heap of mail with antique cup of tea

When I was little, I dreamed of being a kitchen witch, mixing up mysterious concoctions, growing my own fresh, organic ingredients and using them to soothe body and soul. As it turns out, I’m completely devoid of magic in the kitchen.

Maybe that’s why I’m so fond of tea? It’s so easy to make! When I found out you can grow some common ingredients indoors? I knew I’d have to give it a whirl.

Unfortunately, tea leaves take about three years to mature, but there are several herbs you can grow indoors and use for herbal tea mixes or as additives.

  • Mint
  • Chamomile
  • Lemon balm
  • Lemon verbena
  • Lavender
  • Ginger

What is your herbal tea of choice?

(And have you ever tasted catnip tea? Is it for humans or is it just for cats? Either way, I think this is something our kitty can get behind.)

While you’re taking sips, be sure to check out the following paranormal cozy mystery…
